Sign-In Procedure for Parents & Visitors

Sign-In Procedure for Parents & Visitors

As a part of its ongoing safety improvement plan, the school system has installed a video intercom system at the main entrance to Oak Hill Elementary School. All visitors must press the call button on the video intercom to notify front office staff in order to gain admittance to the building. Signs will be posted to help everyone learn to use the system. The video intercom system is located by the left door, when facing the school.

When parents, visitors, or volunteers enter the building they must report to the main office. The parent/visitor must produce a driver’s license. The license will be scanned and a visitor’s badge with their picture, the date and time will be printed. The visitor must wear the badge while in the building. When leaving the building, the visitor must return the badge and sign-out.
